I need to update...now! I realized this when I signed up for google+ and it was in the buzz feed, staring at me in the face. My blog was saying "Why have you abandoned me????"
So for my first post I will share my daily inspiration:
I dont like cloths via tumblr
I really love the eyes in the upper left-hand corner. The drawing is simple but complex in the pattern...just where it needs to be. I love skirts that flow volumnously over such as the one in this beautiful drawing.
Ernest Hébert- A Girl Washing
Hebert was known in the 19th century to paint the every day lives of the peasents of southern Italy. Idealized for our modern sensabilities but was a suprising subject for the time. This painting is so moving, her dress, pose, hands moving over the stone in the process of washing her cloths.
