How long have I been gone?

Too long!
I need to update...now! I realized this when I signed up for google+ and it was in the buzz feed, staring at me in the face. My blog was saying "Why have you abandoned me????"
So for my first post I will share my daily inspiration:

I dont like cloths via tumblr
I really love the eyes in the upper left-hand corner. The drawing is simple but complex in the pattern...just where it needs to be. I love skirts that flow volumnously over such as the one in this beautiful drawing.

Ernest Hébert- A Girl Washing
Hebert was known in the 19th century to paint the every day lives of the peasents of southern Italy. Idealized for our modern sensabilities but was a suprising subject for the time. This painting is so moving, her dress, pose, hands moving over the stone in the process of washing her cloths.

The art of Lucile Gomez

Anyone who knows me personally can testify for my undying love of cats and anything about cats.

I just came upon the art of Lucile Gomez, and I must say I am in love.
It's so whimsical and simple yet lovely lines and feel, and of course the way she draws cats. She really brings out the divine nature of the animals; regal, clever beings. :)

You can see more of her art @ http://lucilegomez.blogspot.com/

A while ago I hearted a fabric with cute black line drawing cat pattern.
It sold, and months later I can not find it anywhere!
So sad

I shall keep looking

But first I would like to say I have added a new designer to my favs: Anna Sui

What I love today

For my first official post I'll be including some stuff I find on the internet that I love, from mostly etsy but some big designers.
So here it goes!

Today I love:

Two cobalt blue Bottles for my Blue bottle tree

These bottles are from Vintage chicks 2 @ Etsy

Polymer clay bird skulls from Malodora @ Etsy

I love these! The color, the detail, at first I didn't know it was polymer clay! Awesome.

And I must say I will only get my cat's collars from now on (I have already purchased two!) from Retro Animals @ Etsy Because for every collar they sell they donate one to a shelter. Plus, they are really cute!

Later on I plan on posting some of the sewing and art I have been working on! :)
